The school took place in Granada (Spain) from June 3th to June 6th, 2013. It covered a wide range of topics related with the application of High Resolution Transmission Electron Microscope in the investigation of minerals at nanoscale and included practical work by using the equipments of the Centro de Investigación Científica (CIC) of the University of Granada: Philips CM-20 and FEI Titan. Practical work also included preparation of samples and interpretation of data.
Financial support
In order to encourage the participation of Master and PhD students to this school, the SFMC offered two grants covering the registration fee and accommodation in a hall of residence of the University of Granada.
