The French Society of Mineralogy and Crystallography will attribute its SFMC Merit Award 2022, for research work in the following areas:
- Mineralogy, geochemistry, materials science
- Study of minerals in their petrological and geological context
- Crystallography
This biennial distinction will reward the outstanding work of an individual or a group of people in connection with French research, and will be awarded for the second time in 2022. This “SFMC Merit Award” will be presented at the IMA2022 conference (18-22 July, Lyon, France)
Nominations are now open. Anyone may submit a nomination (at the exception of the evaluation committee members). The nomination package must in English and include a CV (up to 2 pages, for each individual), a list of selected publications (up to 2 pages) and up to 3 supporting letters.
The package must be sent to sylvie.demouchy@umontpellier.fr before March 1rst, 2022 (midnight).
